Unconventional spaces of abandoned, obsolete or misused buildings in our cities are opportunities to redefine habitability, encouraging other ways to live and use those spaces. Bringing together building refurbishment and space sharing in the domestic domain can give many architectural works a second existence, not only expanding their lifespan but also taking advantage of some unusual attributes which otherwise would not be easy to deal with.
Spazi non convenzionali di edifici abbandonati, obsoleti o senza uso appropriato delle nostre città sono delle opportunità per ridefinire l’abitabilità, incoraggiando altri modi di vivere e usare quegli spazi. Associando il rinnovamento dell’edificio con la condivisione dello spazio domestico può essere garantita una seconda vita a molte opere architettoniche, non solamente aumentando la loro durata di vita utile ma anche sfruttando alcune specifiche caratteristiche che altrimenti non sarebbero facilmente utilizzabili.
